Avian Technologies uses a modification of its Avian-D coating technology along with a highly stable tinting system to produce the targets.These targets have been used in laser range-finding in harsh conditions (the Australian outback) as well as more traditional remote sensing applications. They have been made in sizes ranging from 24” square up to 1 meter x 2.5 meters. Standard sizes are 24” square, 36” square, and 48” square with custom sizes available. The targets come in a hinged wooden box for storage and shipping. If the target becomes soiled touch-up can be applied on site. If the target becomes badly damaged, it can be recoated at a fairly low cost. The target systems offer great flexibility at low cost.
